All of our deliveries are insured by our couriers.* In the unfortunate event of your parcel getting damaged, all claims should be emailed to us, with the full details and photo evidence, within 7 days of the delivery of your parcel. All of our couriers have a time limit in which to submit a claim for damaged goods. We have to allow 14 days after shipping before we can claim for a parcel as missing and we must submit a claim for a missing parcel within 28 of shipping. The time taken to process claims is completely out of our control and set by your chosen courier`s claims department. Due to an increase in fraudulent claims, Postage Planet cannot provide any settlement before a claim has been investigated and settled by the courier.
Postage Planet can arrange insurance for parcels covering the actual cash value in respect of loss of or physical damage of that parcel. Shipment insurance does not cover indirect loss or damage, or loss or damage caused by delays.
* No compensation can be claimed for late, lost or damaged parcels using the ParcelForce/EMS (No Insurance) service to China, as this is a low cost service and to keep the costs to a minimum the insurance is removed.
