At Postage Planet we have years of experience in shipping parcels around the world.
What makes us different from other online parcel companies, is that every parcel can be collected from your door or you can choose to drop it at your nearest Post Office within the UK to be sent anywhere in the world. We have a very close working relationship with the Royal Mail and ParcelForce. All postage is processed through our sorting depot in Kent, where the parcel is weighed and measured before it get shipped with the courier of your choice. This helps prevent delays with the courier or within the customs clearance in your chosen country, helping you get a seamless service every time.
It is your responsibility to check that all the items you send are legal to import into the country that they are being sent to. Some countries may require you to hold an import license to import certain products. It is your responsibility to obtain any necessary license/import clearance papers before placing an order with us. If you are unsure, then please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
We cannot be held responsible for any customs seizures/confiscation. The parcels recipiant will be liable for any customs charges and import duty charged. In the event of customs seizure, no refunds will be available. Postage Planet will accept no responsibility or cost whatsoever if delivery of any product is delayed as a result of anything out of our control; i.e. Customs delay, courier error, electrical or magnetic damage to, or erasure of, electronic or photographic images, data or recordings, act of god, flood, fire, war, industrial action etc. We will not be able to provide a refund if a parcel is returned to us by customs. Postage Planet may use a different courier than the one you select, if the courier you select cannot deliver to your chosen address.
Our couriers also calculate the volumetric weight of parcels, so large light weight items can incur additional postage costs due to their size. This will be calculated for you when you enter the dimensions of your parcel and before you place your order.
Postage Planet’s parcel delivery charges are calculated according to the actual weight and volumetric weight and any shipment may be re-weighed and re-measured by Postage Planet to confirm this calculation. Customer shall pay or reimburse Postage Planet for all shipment charges, ancillary charges, duties and taxes owed for services provided by Postage Planet or incurred by Postage Planet on shipper’s or receiver’s or any third party’s behalf and all claims, damages, fines and expenses incurred if the Shipment is deemed unacceptable for transportation.

We will notify you of these charges within 10 working days. The consignment may also be returned to the sender at your cost (please see "return to sender" charges on our "Terms and Conditions" page).
